Any one know the name of a store or a website on the continent where I can buy Soursop (fruit not the juice/puree)? Dying for one!
Soursop is commonly grown in the tropics, and a few farmers grow them is south Florida. If you're way up north, it may be that they don't ship well so you don't see them.
Well, they can be picked a day or so ahead of time but when they are ripe, they dont last long at all unless they are in fridge. Im definately eyeing the crop growing on trees outside!
a few weeks away though....
I know around here they have a concentrate that is made in the Dominican Republic. Maybe at home you can find an ethnic grocer that supplies latinos or West Indians.
Ronnie
Once again Ronnie is right! I have seen them here in New Jersey at some Latino and West Indian groceries. Have also seen them at Asian stores as well. Good luck!
you best shot at the real fruit is search exotic fruit suppliers in florida......the US does have issues with importing some exotic fruits and your best hope is to special order something from Florida. You will definately pay for it but in todays world, a quick ship from florida shouldnt be out of reach. Just do a search on google like "sour sop supplier florida" or something like that.
or if you can wait a few weeks...i might be able to part with one or two...Im not finding much luck.....
Thx guys.
