There was a guy who performed at Bolongo Bay back in 2010 who was awesome with steel drums. Is there anywhere on STT where we could find this type of music? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know if it was Morgan Rael you had the pleasure of hearing - he's a brilliant musician and can be found playing all over St Thomas.
You can contact him and find out where he's scheduled to be during your visit:

Congratulations on your 41st Anniversary!

There is Steel Pan Music every Tuesday night at the Shoreline Bar & Grille on the waterfront at the Point Peasant Resort.

Thanks for the info FI. Hope you are doing well. We missed you on our last trip in 2014. We will be there again the first 2 weeks of March. Bringing friends who have never been to the island, who want to enjoy the steel pan music (as do I). 2 weeks and counting!

six years ago we celebrated our 40 th with a vow renewal at Trunk Bay...very cool ! On Wed nights Bolongo has their Caribbean night , with authentic food , Moko Jumbies , a fire walker and dancing . In the past they have always had a 3 piece steel pan drum group who were excellent , this is always a must do for us along with teen G'kids who also look forward to it every year....have a wonderful trip...maybe for such a milestone you should visit Omni Jewelers at Havensight ? 🙂

We used to stay at Bolongo until we found a wonderful condo for a very reasonable price so we are well aware of Carnival night 🙂 I don't wear a lot of jewelry but we do look around when in town.
