Does anybody know about snorkling at Megan's Bay. I was wondering if it was a good spot to snorkle. I am planning to go their on vacation in December. Everybody that I talk to tells me that Megan's Bay is the most beautiful beach in St. Thomas. If anybody knows anything about snorkling, please post as soon a possible. Thank you.

Snorkel on the left side (facing the water). Better than on the right. Coki also has decent snorkeling although a bit crowded at times.

Magens is a beautiful beach, but it is just that a "beach". Which mean lots of sand. True, the far left is better than the far right, but there is about a half of a mile of great sand in between! Haha! I would use Magens as a "beach", and go to Coki (which does get a little crowded, but the reef is right there and the fish are so used to people that they eat right out of your hands.), or one of the other many, many beaches for snorkeling.

Anna,

Try the next bay over to the west from Megans. It's called Hull Bay and just follow the rocky edge to the right (facing the ocean) out to some wonderful snorkeling!
