*I want to catch a snorkeling trip from the cruise ship docks (on my own not thru the ship) and go to St John.

Do you have any companies you can recommend? Looking for just a half day trip if possible.

Hello June,

Most of the day charters are day charters/snorkeling trips/sailing trips.... they take you out to snorkeling spots, give you a little history, tell you about what you might see ect.

You might try

IkeWitt Charter (its a 6 pack, 6 maximum number of people)

Captain Jim on the Jester is good too.

I think they both have 1/2 days, in any case pretty sure Jester does - but check them both out and see which works best for you.

You will more then likely have to take a taxi to come and meet them at the docks they operate from. Charters that pull right up to the cruise ship docks are usually cruise ship related excursions.
