Please tell me if there are any snorjkeling spots that are teaming with fish for children to see in a shallow cay or an area (Beach) were there isn't much of a current in the USVI? We are coming off of the Carnival Destiny the week of Oct 10th..
Any help with names of locations and possibly dive shops that are very frieldny with children?
Thanks Big Dude!

As you are ariving by cruise, time will be a premium. You might want to consider the BOB experience. It is a cross between diving and snorkeling.

You can find several North Shore beaches on STJ with calm waters and numerous fish. Not sure of your definition of teeming so you may have to explore to get what you want. Jumbie, Hawknest, Cinnamon and Francis offer a great & calm experience.
take a cab from the ferry dock to coki beach... they will have everything you need from food to snorkle or diving rentals including instruction. buy a dog bone from the many vendors ther and within 5 feet of sure you will covered w/ all types of beutiful fish. very calm , no current to speak of
William: The combination of Coral World and Coki Beach (next door) is unbeatable for children! They can see tons of fish, feed the stingrays, pet a shark, watch the turtles then go to the beach and snorkle. Have fun!
