My husband & I will be staying at Point Pleasant Resort June 12-19. We LOVE snorkeling & will spend most of our time in the water. Where should we go, besides Coki Beach & STJ?

We will need to come out of the water for a few hours, I suppose. Any recommendations on activities or places we should see? We enjoy gardens, walking, nature, history, etc.

Any restaurants we shouldn't miss? Esp. w/ a good view? Please include whether it's very pricey or not (limited budget--I teach, what can I say?).

Other words of wisdom?

Thanks,
Candace

Hello Candace,

You can try Sapphire and Secret Harbor as well on St. Thomas. Places to see; you might do an island tour (if you are renting a car just drive around, if you are not you can take a taxi tour for 2-3 hours). Maybe visit Sts. Peter Mountain Gardens, Mountain Top, do some hiking on St. John, visit the historical sites in Charlotte Amalie including Fort Christian.

Banana Tree is always a favorite they are a bit pricey... very nice for a quiet, romantic dinner with wonderful view - try and get a window seat. In another post Bolongo Bay's Caribbean Show and dinner on Wed. night was recommended... their restaurant Iggies is good also for a casual and nice lunch or dinner.

Have a great time.
