We will be on St Thomas for a day and then on Tortola, unfortunately, only until 2. Last time, we enjoyed St Johns.

We like to snorkel (although me more than my kids)and were wondering about snorkeling in St Thomas--Sapphire Beach; Coki or a boat trip?

And on Tortola--Norman Island or the Baths?

Thanks

Dave...we took a day trip to Tortola last month and snorkled at the Caves and the Indians. The Indians was incredible. My wife got a little freaked out by all the different species and the fact that we were swimming in the middle of the ocean. Definately worth a look/see!

Dave the snorkeling at Coki is really good. It is especially good if you go along the edge of the beach near Coral World. Coral World my also be a good site for the kids if you are taking them this time.

When we went to Tortola we didn't do much snorkeling. More just beach visits. The Baths are incredible and well worth the trip. You get the rock tour, the beach, and can snorkle as well.

Hello Dave,

On St. Thomas; Coki, Sapphire or Secret Harbor would be good for beach accessible snorkeling in the short time frame you have. How old are the kids? What might they want in a beach? Perhaps that can help narrow it down to one that will suit everyone.
