We're 2 families with 2 kids each ages 8 & 11 traveling to St. John in June. I'd love some recommendations of reputable charter companies on the island who do snorkel day trips. Thanks!

One of the great features of STJ is that there's so much good snorkeling right off the beaches. No need to pay somebody to take you out in their boat to see the good stuff. The good stuff is right off most any beach you stop at. Rent snorkel gear, get a guide book ( such as those at the top of the page ) and you're all set. STJ is kind of a do-it-yourself place.

We have been to St John a few times before and never did a day sail, but we decided to try it this trip in May. We have booked the Scubadu for a 1/2 day. You can check it out at www.sailvicom. So far they have been very nice and responsive to our emails.
There are 4 of us and we get the whole catamaran for $400.
