We are a family of six and will be in the area for two weeks in July. We are going to rent a boat for a few days during our stay and want to snorkel around St. Thomas. We would like to dive at a number of different locations but do not know where the better spots are (which could be reached by boat). Any suggestions or advise would be greatly appreciated.
Hello Steve,
Are you looking for good boat accessiable snorkeling spots or good dive spots or both?

Hello Islander
We are looking for good boat accessible snorkeling spots.
Wasn't sure that we could find these areas on our own with a map or if we should get a guide the first time out and then take the rest of the trips on our own?
Thanks,
Steve

There are a lot of great spots for snorkling and fun day trips to the cays around St. Thomas. Don't forget to plan at least a half day trip to Hans Lollick on the north side. Contact me if you want more details.
Steve,
A good Crusing Guide could help out alot! Try www.cruisinguides.com for the latest issue. Will also give important information on anchoring in the bays, etc.
