I will be spending a week on St. John's followed by a week on St. Thomas. I have a good idea of where to do snorkeling on St. John's, but would like some advice on where to beach snorkel and boat trip snorkel on St. Thomas?
St John's (Antigua) ??????
OK, now I've had my fun (if you didn't get it it is St John - no "s") great snorkeling at Maho, Francis, Jumbie, Hawsknest, Saltpond, Haulover, Cinnamon, Trunk, Waterlemon....... to name a few, but the list goes on 🙂
I recommend you buy the book Feet, Fins and Four Wheel Drive - great read and will tell you all you need to know.

Some good beach snorkeling spots on St Thomas include: Hull Bay, Coki, Secret Harbour and Sapphire. Are you looking for a snorkel-only boat trip or a snorkel& beach bar experience? Also do you want a sail or power boat?
Bill and Joyce...when are you going?
I have a great recommendation for you for a boat trip, but I'm not sure Captain Kevin will be back for your trip.
borntorhumb....excellent trip all around.
There are two beachs that I can recommend.
The first is Sapphire. You can see turtles and rays as well as lots of fish including baracuda and squid, Go early in the morning off Crystal Cove and out 100 feet for the rays and turtles.
Go to Cokie for more fish as they feed them and that attracts the fish. But it gets crowded so go early.
