I've always been a sun person, since I was a kid. Just went to the dermatologist and he took off a spot right under my eye. I would NEVER of thought it was skin cancer at all.

I always use sunblock. At least 15 everywhere and I put it on constantly. Guess I'm going to have to up that spf.

If anybody has any suspicious spots, even if you don't think it's anything, go to the doctors. Hopefully, I've caught it eary enough and that will be it.

I get skin cancers that have to be removed all the time also. That's 1 thing I so appreciate about the beautiful beaches on St. John; almost all of them have plenty of shade for those of us so susceptible to the sun. Except when I'm in the water enjoying my swimming or snorkeling, I'm basically huddled under the fringing trees just enjoying the views and pretending to read every so often:D

I have two froze off
One on the ear
One on the neck

I am better about using sun screen or spending more shade to sun time
But I refuse to give up the blue water

I quit smoking a year ago
Damn if I am giving up the islands
