help.... is there a shuttle from San Juan airport to Fajardo? I need one in order to then catch a ferry to St Thomas, and I've heard taxis are really expensive....
thanks!
Sorry I can't help with the shuttle part of your question, but I was wondering if you have double checked the ferry schedule to STT from PR - is it still reliable and is it still once per week?? - depending on the cost of a taxi and ferry service it might be cheaper to catch a flight and much quicker (20 mins vs 2 1/2 to 3 hours in open water which I have done many years ago and it was not fun)

Also don't know about PR taxi, shuttle situation. Just wanted to note that the PR-STT (Saturday only) ferry is not running right now. It is expected to start running again around mid-October, but that is dependent on demand. Also, a reservation is required one week prior to intended date of travel.

Is the STT ferry that unreliable? If so, I guess you have to have a backup plan. Airfares, though, seem to be almost as much as getting from Columbia, SC to Puerto Rico. Seems like a waste for 30 miles ...
I would check out Seaborne Airlines. http://www.seaborneairlines.com
