Taking family to stay with relatives for 10 days in STX.....been there a lot...would love to go to STJ for 2 days. Don't want to spend a lot......2 adults, three kids...3yrs-13years.....what is the most economical route to STJ and back....hoping to find a deal at Westin for 2 nights......going early April for Easter. Would love any kid friendly advice for STX as well.

About the only way to get to STJ from STX is to go to STT and take the ferry either from Charlotte Amalie or Red Hook. You can get from STX to STT either via the seaplane or the Fast Ferry. I think the seaplane is costing about $120 round trip and the Fast Ferry is about $62 round trip. The plane takes about 20 minutes for the trip. The ferry takes about 45 (I think). Hope this helps

Hello,

Adding a note to Ric's answer - Seaplane and the Fast Ferry I believe have a special partnership package going - you go over on one and back on the other in order to maximize your time. Not sure what the cost are but I am sure if you contact the Seaplane they could help.
