Hi there! We will be going to St. Thomas in late february on a Disney cruise. After our morning excursions, we will have 3 or 4 hours to explore, and wanted to go to maybe either Magen's Bay, or Sapphire Beach. There will be 5 of us. I am not sure if I am reading the tables right or not, but it looks like a two-way trip to the beach and back in a taxi would be around $100 for us. That just seems so high. Should we bother with renting a car, or would that not be any less?

If we just want to chill out and play in the water, which beach do y'all think would be better?

Thanks so much!
Tracy

Magen's bay is $6 per person each way and Sapphire would be $8. You should be able to rent a car under $80 for the day and you would have a better time and go to both beaches if you like!
