arrive at St Thomas am want to freey to st. john take a driving tour of the island then some snorkling. What is the best way to reserve the drive tour and Are there glass bottom boats? women are 60 to 70 yrs old ( 4 women)?
Your ship might offer a glass bottom boat tour. I don't think it's yet available for individual walk up ticket purchases.
Your ship probably offers an excursion to STJ (probably more than one). That's the easiest and sometimes more affordable option for seeing STJ.
If you don't want to take a ship tour, the best way to get to STJ is to take a taxi to the STJ ferry. When you get to STJ, there'll be any number of taxi drivers offering island tours. The rate for island tours is set by govt, so they should all be charging the same fee. Talk to them a bit to see which one you prefer and hop in the vehicle. Tell the driver you want some beach time, and you can be dropped off at a beach after the tour.
