I recently saw that Saturday Feb 12, our departure day, has no ships in port. That's our normal shopping day since we are taking a late afternoon flight home.
So - with no ships scheduled on a Saturday, will the Havensite Mall and/or downtown merchants still be open regular shopping hours?

Many shops will be closed at Havensight, but more will be open in town. This past Saturday with no ships at Havensight, most of the stores were closed.
Thanks for the reply. We normally shop at havensight on our last day there. Looks like we'll need to head downtown.
There are some new items this year that look exciting to me:
Little Switzerland has little flag charms for selected locations. I always wanted a charm bracelet as a kid, so this might be a MUST BUY.
Boolchands has a new JVC underwater video camera that I guess is similar to Kodak's. It was so new that there were very few reviews, so I don't know how it compares to Kodak.
More stores are selling costume jewelry that is very attractive with lots of color to enhance a lady's outfit.
Most of the time when there are no ships in, the shops will be closed. I would recommend shopping on a day when 2 ships are in and you get light foot traffic but the shops open.
