*could you tell me the if shops are open on chritmas day dec. 25th. if they are, what are the opening and closing times for that day?

Often on holidays the opening and closing of stores is by demand - and on the 25th there will be 4 ships in port!! So...
The shops in Havensight will be open regular hours.
Many shops in Charlotte Amalie will likely be open regular hours as well. There will be some that close early - perhaps 1pm or open a little later 10am. The last time I called which is a couple months ago to ask what their holiday hours were (I called about 5 big stores) I was told they are open all day.
Post offices, banks, services like doctors, dentist ect. will be closed.
The Vendors Plaza in Charlotte Amalie will likely have fewer vendors but still have some.
Grocery stores - I know Plaza is open and K-mart I believe has Christmas hours too.
