Hi everyone!

Sherri asked me to post her pics of "The Shack". Remember, "The Shack" is Sherri's home while she and Jeff are building their new home. She and Jeff own Stone Cottage and Rockworks villas. Funny that they own such fabulous villas and live in what she calls "The Shack".... Sherri, it looks like more than a shack to me. If I could get a piece of land over the water and erect one of these, I could be happy for a while!!!

Introducing - Sherri's "Shack".......(steel pan drumroll)

Sherri, I just thought to ask this after looking at your pics - How do you get water for the shack? I assume there's no cistern - but maybe there is. Perhaps there are little instant cisterns you can buy at Home Depot or something. Can you explain how that works in case some of us decide to buy a piece of land and get our own Shack?

I wish I had a shack with that view! When I was talking my husband into going to St. John again, I told him that I was going, even if I had to stay in a shack!

HI everyone!
Finally have a teeny moment to write! Just became a new grandma and also busy tiling Stone Cottage! Whew! 🙂
Blu, you are right, there is no cistern....we have water and power coming over from Rockworks, tho we do collect water from the roof with a tank on the far left side of the shack! That water we use for watering the banana tree's, etc. We have been there for a year already, but hope to be in the lower level of our new place by hurricane season next year. Was a real hazy day when I took the above pics, today was clear as clear could be and a great day for boating!!!! Calm water... so pretty!
There is a yard with GRASS too! Just can't see it in these pics. We have a jacuzzi ( heater doesn't work, but who cares)! The yard is lined with more banana tree's, Papaya trees, pineapple plants, etc. I have to admit I love my shack and would be content to stay in it forever! Provided there were no hurricanes ofcourse! 🙂
