I've been to St John twice and both times have done alot of snorkeling. is it my imagination or have i seen bigger sharks while snorkeling at Leinster bay? I'm not talking the little nurse sharks either. i love to snorkel but that freaks me out.

We snorkeled alot of places and I wasn't too concerend except for the swim out to Waterlemon. We moored up our dinghy close as possible but it was still a long, long swim to Waterlemon and the water was very deep and you couldn't see anything around you except blue. My husband said I was like a torpedo swimming to the cay. He laughed at the way my head swiveled left and right to look for sharks. It was the only time I really worried about it and to tell you the truth I was petrified. It was such a long swim that you had absolutely nothing to do if you did encounter one.

Of course, we didn't see any the whole trip. And the snorleking on the back side of Waterlemon was the best I've ever experienced, so even considering the fear, I'd do it agaIn.
