Has anyone mailed out dry goods ahead of time to their hotel? The westin said you can mail the package out addressed to the hotel in C/O yourself with your unit number. How long would it take to get from NJ to St. John??

I had a priority envelope take 2 months almost to the day from Missouri to St Thomas. So if it's something you can't live without then you should probably put it in your luggage.

And we DO have stores here, so anything you need, you can get it on STT on the way over to STJ, or on STJ once you arrive.

Surely you aren't serious?

Priority Mail is a joke here. You can sometimes get it in four days and sometimes it takes over a month. Priority Mail has no guarantees (read the small print) but Express Mail does if you're willing to pay the premium.

What on earth would you want to bring here that couldn't be carried in your luggage but not available here? I'm really really curious!

Going to give my own opinion: Pack some of your fave dried goods in your luggage to hold you over until you can get to a store. You may have heard that the prices are a bit higher in the stores there, but they aren't out of control. What you might save in terms of price, you may end up spending on postage anyway. As mentioned above, you risk it not getting there in time anyway.
