We will be on a plane out of Chicago in exactly 11 days!!! This is our first trip to USVI. I've been planning it since August. My husband and I were supposed to take a tropical vacation together for our 10 year anniversary but it had to be postponed. We'll be celebrating 13 years this August. Grandma will be watching our three boys. I've been running a family day care in our home for the last eight years. This will be our first week together without the responsiblity of having children to take care of since then.

For financial reasons this will probably be a once in a lifetime trip for us. I've been watching extra kids in the day care saving the money for the nice restaurants and boat trips. I can't wait for the blue water, soft sand, cocktail in hand, and the sound of the waves. Hubby and I can't wait for all the fun we will have together.

We will be vacationing June 12th-21st. Hubby and I and our two kids (a graduation trip). We're so excited we can't stand it. Does anyone else have issues with vacation shopping? Everytime I go to the store, I have to have at least one item in my cart specifically for our trip! But the real problem is-well-um, I think I need to join BSA-Bathing Suits Anonymous. Hello, my name is chrisn and I am a bikini addict. Look for us on one of STJ's beautiful beaches. We'll be the ones with the Neat Sheet and a blue beach umbrella. Don't however look for the same swimsuit, I'll be wearing a different one every day;)

Skinny's, Paridiso, Woody's, driving on the left, no phones or tv, hopefully the Blackberry won't work too, a different beach everyday, hiking in the rain, boat drinks, Jimmy Buffett, forgeting about reality for a week....ah paradise...see you then.

PS...I will not be bringing meat or beer from home. Just in case anyone wanted to know.
