We are seeking a boat to rent with a captain and a cook from Dec 17th until Jan 2nd 2007. We will be three couples and are trying to arrange a vacation. Anyone know anyone who might be interested in chartering their boat?

Dr Ores: You probably need to talk to a charter yacht broker like Ellen Stewart: http://www.stewartyachtcharters.com/ If you are looking for this year, you are cutting it a bit close. Christmas to New Year's usually books up far in advance. Good luck!

My wife and I spent a week of our honeymoon on the Yacht Phaedrus. Too small for you guys (amazing for 1 couple though), but we booked it through Sherry Yates of Yates Yachts. I believe her website is yatesyachts.com
I highly recommend her. Very friendly, attentive and knowledgable. She has a good relationship with a lot of charter captains so she may be able to set you up with someone on relatively short notice.

the options are heavily discounted bareboats, but the prices are so cheap that all you need to do is find a cpatain, which isn't hard.
