So my search continues ..........

i've decided that beautiful scenery and gorgeous sunsets - and of course, value - will be my top priorities for my very first STT vacation.

Will I find this exclusively on the west end? Can anyone suggest a specific villa?

Hey,

Check out VRBO.com for vacation rentals. My girlfirend and I are visiting St. John for two weeks in August and we found a good deal on a condo on Sapphire Beach. Alot of condos on the east end seem to go for about $700/week and up... Of course I have never been there I just have alot of research and planning for our vacation. Good Luck!!!

sapphire beach is on the east end of st thomas looking back toward st john and away from the sunsets as are several other resorts and condo projects on east end of st thomas. if inquiry is about sunset view villas on st john, then the destination should be cruz bay, upper chocolate hole, and gifft hill on stj.

If looking on STT, some of the villas in the Peterborg area are turned enough west so that you get a beautiful sunset. Last May we were on the Magen's Bay side of P'Borg and although I wouldn't recommend the villa we were at, it was far enough out on the peninsula that we got beautiful sunsets. There are some really nice villas out that way - check out McLaughlin Anderson's site - they manage many of the nicest villas on STT.

we have a two bedroom that sleeps 7 on Sapphire Beach at Crystal Cove. So you can see the sun rise over St. John but the sun sets over a moluntain and not over the sea.

pm me if interested or call 908-343-1595.

On the East End you have Cayenne! There are so many wonderful villas to look at and see. Also ck out Villa Ventana located East of Town has an awesome sunset over looking the Harbor!

Definately got to try Villa Tryst in Hull bay. Not only the best sunsets (over the water), you get to watch the surfers every morning. Oh, and it''s within a three minute walk of a white sandy beach - with a little bar and restaurant. Email [email protected] for more info and tell them Reginal sent you.

Well, until you find and book your west end St. Thomas Villa, please enjoy the daily live sunsets over St. Thomas from St. John on the webcam:
