Are there places on St. Thomas and St. John where you can rent either a scooter or moped? Thanks.

i know that there are some places to rent scooters. in stt, check out island scooter next to the hard rock cafe. in stj, it's up the hill behind polly's restaurant(i'm not sure of the name of the place). ask anyone on either of the islands for directions to these rentals. most people are more then willing to help out.

The roads on both islands are steep, windey, sometimes poory maintained. They're often very slippery when wet. Traffic is not scooter-friendly. Many people feel that it's suicidal to ride a scooter on either island. Often visitors who intend to rent scooters change their minds after having a look at the islands and their roads. And the places posted above will rent you a scooter if you like.
