Can anybody give me some insite on scooter rentals on St John? We will be in St Thomas via cruise ship and want to tour around ourselves and snorkle. Also, will htey hold two people (myself and my 8 year old daughter)?

In my opinion riding around St. John with an 8 year old is not a very wise choice. The roads are very hilly, and wind around. and around. You can rent a car and tour around yourself or take a safari bus to any one of the north shore beaches. Driving a car for the first time on the island is enough of a challenge but quite doable.
