Can anyone offer any information from experience or a good source on the Schooner Bay Condos at Gallows Bay or the Coakley Bay Condos? Any daytime safety issues with staying at either one of these? We are still trying to narrow down some places to stay for our April visit in 2004. Any comments or suggestions on places to stay will be welcomed.

We noticed a post in the archives where b did not recommend staying at Questa Verde or Schooner Bay. Can you elaborate on that a bit b or anyone else?

Kerry, I asked a friend that lives on St. Croix, here is what they said.

"Both those condos are fine with me and I don't know of any security problems. The Schooner Bay one is closer to walking to restaurants in the day like: at the marina, Gallows Bay - Morning Glory and No Bones. Coakley Bay condos just has Cultured Pelican, which is nice. It's a lot farther from town. hope this helps"

Hope that helps a bit.

Islander,

Thank you and your friend for the comment on these condos. We are still having fun searching for the right place to stay.
