I am interested in renting a unit in St.Kitts building of Sapphire Village. Can someone tell how far and how many steps to get to the beach level? (My wife has a heart bypass & I am concerned)

I'm not sure, but I think it's at the top. Anyone?

St Kitts is on the very top of the hill and they have a small pool right there but as far as her walking to the beach it is a hike and a half and even tougher going back. You would be better off at Bluebeard's Beach Club as it is right on the water or renting at Sapphire Beach Resort (they are also right on the water). We are currently in Sapphire Village Dominica and it is right next to Sapphire Marina so the walk isn't too difficult but it is a ways to the beach.

Sapphire is a possibility, but St. Kitts is way too far up the hill for you to walk to the beach. If you have a car, you could drive down to the beach.

Also, go on vrbo.com and check out some units on the beach, you'll be right on the beach where you can walk right out without any steps.

unless you got a great deal then I would look for a place right on Sapphire beach.
