*Can anyone tell me about the Sapphire Beach Party that is held on Sundays? What time does it start? How long does it last? Is there always live local music? Is there a cost? Is it fun?? We heard that it is. Also, any other tips for local music would be great! We are going to St. Thomas for the first time during the last week in April.

It is usually 2 to 3ish until 6pm. It draws a big crowd and is a favorite for a lot of the locals. It used to be a little wild but they changed bands and is pretty mellow now. There is a bar , and they have a barbque with ribs etc. It is good people watching and fun si give it a try.

It starts around noon, and the food is an all-u-can-eat buffet for $10. The band that will be playing is always a good one...even when they switch. Lot's of beach activities, such as swimming, snorkeling, volleyball, parasailing, sunfish, windsurfing, etc. It's a good time.

It is from 2:30 to 5:30, but get there around 1:00. It is $10 for a plate of food, not all you can eat! It's fun, lots of dancing, order your drinks two at at time, they are very slow bartending there with so many people.

Hmm, I usually get there at 11 a.m., and they always let me eat all I want. Everyone doesn't get the same treatment? That's not fair!! See me if you want more food and I'LL go up and refill your plate!

We just returned from Sapphire two days ago. Our party started at 2:30 p.m. and went until 6:00 p.m. The party was on Easter Sunday, so maybe it was a little different that day?? The BBQ was $12. You could also order a la carte. For instance, if you just wanted a grilled chicken sandwhich, that was $8. The music was great.
