*Hello, Islander. What on earth would the people visiting the Virgin Islands do without you? Your information and insight is invaluable. Thank you so much for taking the time to help me, and the thousands of others who seek your advice. Ok, my question is: I have pretty much decided on Sapphire Beach, based on everything I've read. Do you happen to know if there is an age limit on the jet skis? We have a ten-year old daughter, and I think she'd have a blast on them (along with us). Even if she can't drive, do you know whether or not she is too young to sit in the back in hold on? Also, we'll be on the Triumph in port on April 2nd. The cruise schedule hasn't been posted yet for April, but is it safe to assume that it will pretty much be the same (Tuesday ships stay on that Tuesday schedule)? (if that makes any sense?) Thanks again for all your wonderful help - look forward to hearing from you. Ann

Hello Ann,

Pretty sure your daughter can ride behind an adult. Pretty sure she wont be allowed to ride alone. In the passed renters were less strict you could go out and do whatever really. Now many folks send someone out with you on their own jet ski to supervise, make sure you dont get into trouble. I will see if I can find out for sure.

As for the schedule, yes its possiable that Tuesdays in March might be a good may of predicting Tuesdays of April - often times some ships come on the same day of the week every week or every other week. Will also try and get this information.

Stay tuned.

Happy to read your post 🙂 or the first few sentences. 🙂 Thank You!!

Went jet skiing with my 7 year old daughter. It was fine for her to ride on back and hang on but could not go alone (I wouldn't have wanted that anyway). We did it at Bolongo but I suspect that Sapphire would be similar. Before we moved here we stayed at Sapphire while house hunting and had a GREAT time. Have fun.
