We - my wife and I - stayed in number three for two weeks in jan-feb 2010.

AND IT WAS FANTASTIC!

It was exactly what we wanted. We had a base to come home to every day as we had no need of a fine hotel with roomservice and all that stuff.

You get to cook your own food and enjoy it on the porch while iguanas fight in the backyard and ghekkos begs for food by your table.
(theres some wild cats too whitch can be a little anoying - and go into your house...so remember to close the door)
Theres a great fridge and a fine bathroom.
The cottage is is a two-room house with a 4-pers bedroom and a kitchen/living room.
We had no use of the living room as we had all our home cooked meals on the porch.

Patrice will provide you with a lot of towels and all you need for beds and kitchen.
Patrice is a superb landlady and will help you with whatever you'll need. She seems to know allmost every single person on the island - and quite a lot on the rest of USVI. She makes things easy and has a lovely smile.

The cottages are in walking distance from all you need in town.
Rent a car (4WD!) and get to the other end of the island in less than half an hour.

Note: its not luxury - it's a base to come back to and a quiet place to sleep. Do not expect any high class or 3 stars rooms. I don't even know if the tv works - we didn't turn it on. The radio worked though 😀

It was exactly our kind of place - a place from where we could go and explore the great history of our former colony 🙂

Yours
