I’ll be visiting St. Thomas in late February and would like to go sailing. I am comfortable sailing a J/22 and would prefer a boat about that size (i.e., fairly small).

Thank you from frigid Chicago – currently 5 degrees,

Erik

Hi Erik...

Drop by the St Thomas Yacht Club, introduce yourself and ask whats available.
Go to the bar and network a little, you can almost always find a boat, or a boat and companion to share it with.
I know they have Lazers etc, that they use for teaching, some larger like the 22's you mentioned, but I think you'll find like souls at the club.

You do have to be a member to use the boats! 😉
