Hello,

I have been to the island before on different cruises, but never stayed for a prolonged time. I was wondering what the stay was like, especially after reading some of the messages on the board.

I will be traveling alone, and thought of staying in the states. I was looking at the Marriott Frenchmans Reef.

Thanks

Hello Mickey,

Frenchman's Reef is a great resort, nice property (pools, beach, tennis court, bars, restaurants). The island is very doable/safe for a solo traveler. Start researching the things you'd be interested in doing; beaches, fishing, sailing, diving, island hopping, restaurants... and start planning.
