Mom and daughter trip to ST coming up in June. YEAH ! Last time we were there, my daughter was not of bar-hopping age. We waited a couple years, and now she is! Would feel comfortable knowing if there are areas we should avoid late-night. We would like to visit clubs to drink/dance.
Hello Vali,
Sounds like fun.
If you are visiting in late June you might be able to catch some of the Carnival activity on St. John, you can take the ferry over to listen to music, dance, eat ect. at the various events.
On St. Thomas; you can do one of the Caribbean Night shows, Bolongo Bay has one, Wyndham also - usually a buffett of local foods, mocko jumbies, glass dancers, music - lots of fun. You can do the happy hour on Paradise Point - thats on Wednesday afternoons, you ride the tram for free up to the bar/lookout for sunset happy hour, usually live music. Greenhouse has happy hour which is fun and there is two for tuesday drink specials. Duffy's in Red Hook is a fun place - very casual - they have food and drinks, music, dancing. Accross from Duffys or rather in the same area in walking distance there is XO, Caribbean Steak House, Poor Mans Bar... You might also go to Tommy's in town - they have good music.

I would recommend Sunday night at the Sapphire Beach Resort on the East End. Good music and lots of dancing. I believe it begins early in the evening too.
Good suggestion TheHawk - I think it starts around 3pm and ends around 5:30-6pm.
