My husband and I are going to Jost Nov 1-8. We are flying into STT on Friday 10/31 and will need a room in the Red Hook area for that night so we can be close to catch the earliest ferry out to Jost the next dayt. We lived on STT for 2 years so we we know the area and know that people sometimes rent out rooms. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.
I would hit St. John!! You can take the same ferry from St. John (it stops at Red Hook first) and STJ has a great Halloween fest. We stay at Tamarind Court ( http://innattamarindcourt.com/) for short stays on STJ - walking distance to the ferry dock. We arrive the next day, I have to do Halloween with the kids every other year.
Make sure you call ahead for the the Saturday ferry!

we have guest rooms right next to Sapphire Beach. THey are in a private home and have their own bath, cable TV, king size bed, ac,frig, micro wave and pool. For one night the cost would be 129.
