Hi everyone!

I have been to the Banana Tree as well as Craig and Sally's. Can you recommend a restaurant
on STT for a nice, romantic dinner? I need a reason to wear my new dress!! 🙂

We were in STT in June and we had the most amazing dinner at Mimi's (I think that is the name) I think it is near Bolangos? The view was beautiful, the food was amazing and the waitress was the best we had during our complete stay and we ate out every night! (She even brought our a special dessert for my daughter and fiance- they were getting married the next day)
I never see anyone recommend this restaurant on this site, but our hotel (Marriott) recommended it highly! Also my daughter and husband had a great dinner at Havana Blue - I think more pricey. Anyway I would suggest checking it out!

🙂 Nancy

A Room With a View is also a nice option.

Romano's. It's the BEST OF THE BEST. Great wine, pasta, filet... and it's an art gallery also. I was just here 2 weeks ago. Had the pasta pianello. It's small = maybe 12 tables (at best). You'll need reservations. They open at 6pm.

It is Mimms on bolongo beach, very romantic, ask for the half round table for 2, you face the water and the waves are almost below your feet, candlelit and tables are spaced out so you don't feel as if your conversation is heard by all. One night we had a full moon, would be a good place to propose! We have stayed at the ground floor condos across the grass from Mimms, we could never hear any noise or the smell of cooking food it must be because of being on the water. Did you walk down the beach to Bolongo? This restaurant is truly an insiders kind of place so don't tell too many people. Her lobster special is wonderful, Mimm is usually there and I think her husband is the chef? she does have a great hard working staff. Her attention to the little details is what is really great about this place, candles and fresh flowers in the ladies room! Go There.......Donna and you won't feel out of place a little more dressed up

We love Mimis too. Nothing more romantic than eating right next to the water!

🙂 People have made some great recommendations. Here are two more that I personally Cherish.

Windows on the Harbour - At the Marriott Hotel. Ask for a window facing Charlotte Amalia.

For the Best Italian dinning on the Island Try Virgilio's Restaurant. Can't remember the name of the street, however , from the Greenhouse Restaurant on the waterfront road,. Keep the Greenhouse on your left and walk up the side street 1 1/2 blocks.

Expect to pay for two around $100.00 - $130.00 ( That includes app's, main course, dessert, wine with your meal and coffee).

Hope this helps,

The view and the food at Mafolie's can't be beat. I also love Oceana.
