Does anyone know how long time wise it takes to get from the cruise dock at Road Town, Tortola to the airport at Beef Island. If I have read the boards correctly there is a bridge that connects the two?
Thanks in advance for your help........if you want to reply by email change the 444 to 492

You might try one of the BVI web sites like http://www.bviwelcome.com/ or http://www.britishvirginislands.com/

Thanks Islander, I had looked for boards more specific to the BVI area but the ones I found were not very active like this one. I will try the url suggestions you have given me. Thanks again, Larry

Hello,
Finally I can help someone! It takes about 20 or 30 minutes to get from Road Town to the airport. That is plenty of time to get there even during rush hour (ha ha ). Good luck and have an excellent time!! Amy.

Hello Larry,

Here is what I found - Beef Island and Tortola are connected by a short toll bridge. The drive from Road Town (where the cruise ships dock) to the airport takes about 20 minutes and cost $15-$20.
