Is it possible to walk in and spend the day (beach, pool, restaurants) at the Ritz-Carlton? Thanks!
I believe you can have lunch there, and the beach is public (bring your own chair), but I don't think you would be welcome at the pool.
We went there for the day. We just used the beach chairs, pool and everything like we were staying there. Nobody said anything to us. We just had to pay for the food with cash instead of charging it to a room. It was May and not really crowded, so I am not sure if that makes a difference.
in the u.s. virgin and british virgin islands, all beaches are considered open to the public - parking is even provided at the ritz-carlton. perhaps the chairs may not be available to you depending on who's on duty or how busy it is, but certainly the community is welcome to enjoy the beach and dine at the restaurants on property.
My villa "sail Away" is in walking distance of the ritz and I aways recomend that my renters visit the ritz. When I am down personally I always go over there w/ my wife and kids for lunch and we use the pool and chairs and have never had any problems.
Thanks everyone!
