Staying at the Ritz in November for the Paradise Jam! What is the area around the Ritz like? Lots of restaurants and bars? Any differences in the beaches to visit? Shopping? Any info is appreciated!

Besides the restaurants at the Ritz, you can walk next door to the Elysian. There are two restaurants there- Ainsley's on the beach and Robert's. Both are run by the same family and very nice! (tu) Otherwise, Marty is right. You'll need a car to get to Red Hook, also to get to UVI which is at the other end of the island.

, Yes, go to robert's. This is our favorite. If not as stated you will need to go to red hook. Also the beach is not the best at the Ritz. Go to sapphire or bolongo.
