We are happily heading to St. John on Tuesday. Are the restaurants open or closed right now? Lime Inn? Cafe Roma? Rum Lines?

We were there the week of 8/8 and Lime Inn was still open- just ensure you make reservations-we didn't and missed out on Wed nite all you can eat shrimp . To our surpise, most all the others were open too unlike previous August trips- the Balcony, Rumbalaya and the Fish Trap, Morgan's Mango, Margarita Phil's etc. We carried frozen meats in a freezer bag with us on the plane so we cooked out at our villa for most evenings which was quite nice and much less expensive than buying there. Of course if you aren't looking for fancy food , Woody's still has the best service and best casual bar type food on the island. We hit it 3-4 times in 7 days for either lunch, happy hour/appetizers or dinner.

Thank you for your response. I am embarrassed to admit that I know the girls at Woody's by name. So, with that info, you know we don't miss Happy Hour there either. Chad and Todd are great too!

I just returned from St. John this morning. I believe all of the restaurants that you mentioned were open during the past 2 weeks.

Thank you once again! I haven't been there in about 3 months and don't usually go down this late and close to Hurricane Season, but just couldn't stay away. As you can imagine, it just isn't the same, missing Shrimp Fest, Late night Pizza at Cafe Roma, etc. I had visions of my usual hang outs being closed and had a bit of a panic. So, Thank you for putting my mind to rest! Will fill everyone in on how the 2 week are in Paradise!

We were at Woody's and Morgan's Mango last week. Duffy's Love Shack was closed on St. John, but maybe it's been closed a long time.
