Since I was given good information about Car rental in St Croix, I was wondering if anyone has suggestions for restaurants we should not miss. We do not like really fancy restaurants except for maybe one night. Any good inexpensive or moderate, not fancy restaurants you would recommend? Thanks in advance.

staying at Divi gives you lots of options. Go East/North on the road ( only one main road out there). As you drive you will pass several nice restaurants, some right on the beach. The Cultured Pelican comes to mind. Cheeseburgers in paradise if further down. Ask at Divi, they'll be glad to help you find what you want.

Sharon:

Many of the restaurants along the boardwalk in Christiansted will meet your requirements; great harbor view, reasonably inexpensive food and cheap drinks if you get there for happy hour.

Also consider Chenay Bay resort. Never had dinner there, but lunch is nice

For a fancy meal consider Duggan's Reef. Only a couple of miles from where you are staying on the East End Rd (82).

Hello,

Rumrunners in Christiansted is good. Had a great lunch at the beach restaurant at the Buccaneer. Cheeseburgers is good for a casual night out. Off the Wall is fun and good - enjoyed lunch there.

I hope I'm okay in posting this website, since it's doesn't compete with the information provided here. Ed Buckley maintains this himself and I tend to agree with most all of his opinions. A personal favorite of mine is the Bombay Club.

Just got back from STX. Rumrunners on the boardwalk was excellent as was Stix. You can get anything there, from hamburgers and fresh fish, sushi, and fresh live lobster at Rumrunners. Also fantastic views of the harbor. Enjoy.
