Our two young teens liked Molly Malone's, Duffy's Love Shack, and Greenhouse. Molly Malone's (Red Hook) had food that they liked in a pleasant atmosphere. Duffy's (also Red Hook--go for earlier dinner before the rowdiness begins) has lots of free trinkets and the kids can get fancy virgin drinks in a special glass or cup they can keep (for a price). Greenhouse (waterfront Charlotte Amalie) has a special $3 off for appetizers. That was a fun night when we just ordered a bunch of appetizers and shared them all for dinner. Our 14 year old had his own contest for Best Burger in Paradise. I think he liked Delly Deck's (in Havensight) the most. I must admit they also really liked our fancy night out at Mafolie. Great view from there. Just a warning: I think we spent more on soda refills than we did on their meals.

Fat Turtle at Yahct Haven Grande, Tickles in Sub-base Crown Bay Marina, Hook, Line and Sinker in Frenchtown, Iggies at Bolongo, Fungi's at Point Pleasant, and I am sure I am missing some! These are all places that are very casual, and no reservations needed! Enjoy! Also Indigo's in great! No reservations needed for lunch, but needed for Dinner! I think they have a childrens menu. Hope this helps! Didn't mention those that were already mentioned for obvous reasons!

Just returned from USVI--thanks for all the restaurant tips. We did hit a few of the spots mentioned but, when traveling with a 3 1/2 yr old and 11 month old, we found that dining out wasn't as easy as we thought it would be. For those planning to go with really young ones like us, beware that some restaurants do not have high chairs and some places do not have baby change areas in their restrooms--many diaper changes in rental car and one on the floor of a gift shop with towel supplied by gracious owner at top of STT SkyRide.
We did hit DUFFY'S--very casual,--no high chairs, DELLY DECK,(we actually took out), FUNGI'S--my 3 1/2 yr old loved this because he went searching for lizards and snails(the place is actually by water) while we waited for food and IGGIES--I loved the fact that you could walk onto the beach while you waited for food as did my son and the staff was actually pleasant/friendly!
We dined at the restaurants at the Marriott where we were staying--what a disappointment. The first night we arrived we ate at CAPTAIN'S CAFE--essentially paid $7 for boxed mac and cheese for my son. The menu had this option of choose 2 that included carrot sticks, mashed potatoes, french fries, broccoli, etc that i thougt was incl. in meal but was informed was a different meal choice! The last night we were there we went to HAVANA BLUE--my husband wanted to dine there because of all the rave reviews--hugely disappointing--great cocktails, loved the appetizer but horrendous entrees($76 for overcooked, chewy, salty lobster tail) and horrible service--not worth the money--met people at airport who dined there same night we did with same opinion.
While there we checked out CUZZIN'S--absolutely fantastic if you want to check out local cuisine--my son had side of homemade mac and cheese ($2 and enough to fill him up during lunch), yummy conch fritters, curry conch and friendly service.
On St. John, we ate at SOGO's--a dive with local cuisine that someone recommended when the restaurant we wanted to go to was closed. Pleasantly surprised.
We actually bought a lot from MARINA MARKET in Red Hook--they have fresh baked pastries/breads, salads and they make sandwiches to order as well as have good selections of fresh fruit/veggies--reasonably priced for USVI. It was kind of like a gourmet market that I think probably caters to tourists esp those staying in condos, yachts etc. My only complaint would be that the folks there weren't very personable.
