Hello!! This is going to be my first time to the USVI for my wedding on STT and I need help with restaurant recommendations! Can anyone recommend a nice casual restaurant for a party of 15? I want to go somewhere nice for our first night and would like to start off on a good note. Good food, good view, child friendly and wallet friendly. =) Since I have such a large party, should I make reservations???

Jen,

I was in STT earlier this month, and attended an Island Get Together at Mafolie's. It's up the "hill" from town, and has an AWESOME view. They accomodated a party of 20+ on a Saturday night, but reservations were made. The food was excellent. It seems that entrees were between $20-30, if I recall correctly. The view alone was worth every penny!

I would definitely make reservations for 15! Do you want to sit at one table or several close by? What is casual and what price range?

I would like to have everyone at the same table but we can also sit at several tables in close proximity. I guess casual for us is anywhere where kids are not considered a nuisance and shorts/tshirts are the norm. Price range would like to be $15 and below for the main entree. I already made a reservation at Herve for my wedding lunch reception but wanted to know of several other breakfast/lunch/dinner to try out during our week. =) One more week to go. woohoo!!

Hello Jen,

Try Tickles for your casual, kid friendly, inexpensive restaurant. You could also try Sibs on the Mountain for similar atmosphere; they have outdoor and indoor seating so even better for the kids.

Bananna Tree Grill is a nice, great view, service and food option as well for a wedding dinner spot or romantic dinner...

Hook, Line and Sinker in Frenchtown has a separate dining room that opens to the wharf/dock area. Cuzzin's in town has a raised area with several tables for great local food, but no view. Iggie's at Bolongo is on the beach, has basketball, beach volleyball, etc. Coral World would be a great place for an afternoon- very casual, or you could go over to Coki for lunch. Islander's suggestions are all great, too.
