I had heared the Oasis has changed hands. My husband and I have been coming down for years and really enjoyed the selection of food. Can anyone tell me where they have relocated and what restaurant is now in it's place

I just realized, I gave the previous name of the restaurant in Sapphire village. It was called the Oasis several years ago, but changed hands and was called Azure.

The original owner of the Oasis is the owner of Blue Moon. The owners of Azure are not to my knowledge operating a restaurant in another location. The current restaurant, Grapevine Grill, is operated by a group- one guy used to work at the Hard Rock and I believe kin to someone in the east end group (East End Cafe/Lotus/Senor Pizza/Havana Blue. I hope someone will correct me, if I am mistaken.

The current restaurant is the Grapevine Grille. I ate there 10 days ago. For $27 you can get an overcooked sirloin (medium rare came out medium well) with cold garlic mashed potatoes, or flavorless seafood scampi, all served within 40 minutes of your order. On the bright side, the Caesar salad was good ($8), and the waitress threw in a free round of drinks to make up for the sloooooooooooow service.

It was a Saturday night, and there was only one other table of diners. The bar does a good business with the locals.

It has been brought to my attention that the owners of HAVANA BLUE and LOTUS GRILL do not have any connection with the other restaurants mentioned.
