(Reposting this message as the original thread got sidetracked to other topics.)

Just discovered this web site, and wondering if someone can help...
My husband and I (mid-40's) are planning a quick "celebratory" trip at the end of the month. Have been to Jamaica, St. Maarten and the Bahamas. Enjoy a certain amount of night life, trying different restaurants, boating - don't want someplace too secluded.
Can anyone recommend an island an/or resort? Was thinking about St. Thomas.
Thanks, in advance, for any/all opinions.
Jill

I would think that STT would be your best bet.

"Enjoy a certain amount of night life, "
-It can be found here in abundance. Whatver type you are seeking, we have.

"trying different restaurants,
-We've got fantastic restaurants!!

" boating - don't want someplace too secluded."
-This is it! We've got lots of different boating options for you. Sail, power, full day, half day, big groups, just the two of you, rent a bare boat, drive an underwater motorscooter, go to the BVI...oh the lists just goes on and on!

"Can anyone recommend an island"
-STT

"and/or resort?"
-How much do you want to spend per night? You can go as low as $90/night up to....welll, it can get up there! haha! The Ritz has rooms from $795 to $1,800/night CURRENCY RATES QUOTED IN USD - US DOLLAR AND EXCLUDE TAXES
TAX 8.000 PCT PLUS 35.00/ROOM PER NIGHT and we have some villas that are even more. Whatcha lookin' for?

"Was thinking about St. Thomas."
-I think you will be pleased with this island. You can hop over to STJ for a day, or over to STX or PR, if you want to. Shoot, he BVI is only about 2 miles away! Come on down, you will be happy you did.

Hello Jill,

Also look at the Buccaneer on St. Croix. Great resort, lots of restaurant options on St. Croix. No bareboat rentals but you can do day charters with a captain & sunset sails. http://thebuccaneer.com
