We are renting a 7 passenger Dodge caravan during our stay prior to our charter. There are 6 of us and I am concerned about having enough room for our luggage on the trip from STT to Cowpet Bay. Each one of us will have a soft side duffel 28x14x12. Does anyone know if we will have a problem?

We have stayed on STT several times with groups of 6 and 8 and in my opinion you will enjoy yourself much more if you rent 2 of the 4-door Jeep Wranglers. That way you have two vehicles that can be used in the event some want to go one place and others want to go elsewhere. If you are not planning on touring STT or going over to St. John, then you might get by with the van.

That would be a good tip if the party was staying on STT for the duration but I believe they're only here for one night en route to picking up their charter at CYOA. With the minimum amount of luggage, you should have no problem fitting in everything and everybody. Have fun!

Actually on STT for 5 days prior to the charter. Minimal luggage when spending 3 weeks down there is 6 duffel bags 28"x14"x 12 ". Maybe jsut have 1 of the couples take a cab with the luggage. Thanks

Did you include provisioning service from the Charter or are you going to provision yourself. Just thinking that you may also consider the additional space required if you are going to pick up provisions/groceries prior to picking up the boat. In any case, it's likely you'll end up with the van for the people + taxi for your luggage due to space constraints. Have a great time!
