They were married on the beach at Peter Bay in front of his home with about 45 people in attendance, so the paper says. They ate at Rhumb Lines resturant (all 45 guests) the night before. Outdoor buffet reception on his property. Sounds like the perfect wedding to me. Not much honeymoon time though. He's playing in Little Rock tonight.

I am very happy for Kenny and Rene. I hope they will be very happy together. I lso think that the people that are invading their privacy should realize that people can find things out without the reporters being nosy. All in all I hope they were meant for each other, and they will spend the rest of their lives together.

i love it! we went to peter bay to look at a place with my cousins last month..
i remember when they were first building there early 90's we had all the brochures etc...

I FELT SO BETRAYED. ALOT OF FANS HAVE FOLLOWED KENNY SINCE HE WAS NO ONE. WE ARE THE ONES THAT PAY FOR THE TICKETS AND BUT THE MUSIC. EVERYONE IS ENTITLED TO LOVE BUT 4 MONTHS???? HIS #1 SONG LAST WEEK HAS FELL TO #7. I AM GLAD HE HAS ALREADY SOLD OUT THE REST OF HIS SHOWS. BECAUSE I DON'T THINK HE WILL DO THAT NOW. ALOT OF FANS ARE ANGRY AND FEEL THE SAME. WE LOVE KENNY AND HAVE LIVED ALOT THRU HIS MUSIC. MAYBE WE JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND.

Well i think it is good that they could pull it off without the press intruding but i can't believe he married her! I'm sorry but i always thought he would marry some gorgeous woman... and well she's not that great. And this marriage will be hard to pull off with their careers. I mean he' a huge person in country music, and she's an actress (to some people). I don't think it will last too long. But i guess we'll wait and see. Can you imagine what their kids would look like, lmao. They'd be short and if they looked like her... uh oh... white and blonde and kinda funny looking, lol. oh well. like i said we'll see how things go.

I am angry too! They just don't seem to fit each other. I really just don't see her hanging out with a cowboy beach bum and I don't see him hanging out with a rockstar wanna be slut! I feel like he betrayed his fans and lots of people will lose the top notch respect they had for him because he has gone hollywood. I will never pay $400 bucks to see him again! I always really thought that he would end up with a sweet, loving, country girl who knows what life is really about. NOT HOLLYWOOD!!!

OMG! Bailey is so right! I can't believe he married her either! I always thought he would marry some beautiful woman too! She isn't that great looking! And she isn't that great of an actress either. I definatley think it won't last that long! And their kids...... don't even get me started! He is gorgeous, but but she, well..... she is funny looking and really pale and too skinny, she looks ill. We will see!

I feel the same way I am pissed at him for doing this. None of his true fans I think thought that he would go Hollywood and he will realize that he lost many fans in the long run and that it is all a mistake.

Leave these people alone, we all make our our own choices in life, we can't and shouldn't conform to other peoples standards, I say good luck and much happiness to them both!

WOW! Lots of different ppl make the world go around..lol...I too have been a Kenny fan for years..I truely love him! And, I am proud that he too has finally found love in his life, he needed someone to share his life with no matter who it is...He deserves love like any one of us do..This is his choice and I think its a very romantic way,,just meeting, and knowing she is the one right off the bat tells me that love at first sight really does exist..GOD BLESS YOU KENNY AND RENEE...I Wish you many many years of happieness....

I think it's funny how upset some people are that Kenny's gone "all Hollywood" on them! Renee is from Katy,Texas-- a small town in southeast Texas just up the coast from me. Believe me, it's all country around here folks! Houston may be near, but even the people in Dallas think Houstonions are "country". Ha! So give her the benefit of the doubt--- she's probably like most of the people around here, country at heart. I wish them all the best.

It really really sucks! She is not a country girl, she is hollywood. So don't even try to say that she is country because she is from texas-she is all about fame and $$$. And that sucks for all of us that are country fans! We have all supported Kenny since he started and loved him for his loyalty, down to earth style, and respect and i feel very very betrayed and am never going to see him again. If she is a country girl then why does she get so dressed up all the time by the most fabulous designers. She is no where near normal and looks nothing like us normal people. She is all hollywood and looks ill. ...thats a very harsh thing to say about anyone, all i can say is get a life of your own and stop living it through someone you dont even know. Nothing wrong with fantasies, but once they become a reality to you, its time to step back and come back to the real world.
