Hello,
I would appreciate any advice about a barbecue rehearsal dinner at Iggies at the Bolongo Bay. On the website it looks good, like what we are looking for: casual, relaxed get together nite before the wedding. We like the barbecue menu, just not too sure about the liquor, which seems it could be very costly. Any advice or experience would be helpful. Thanks.

Iggie's would be a great place for a reheasal dinner. It's even better than the pictures and they have several differrent seating areas for a great party. When I was their in June, they had a lovely beach wedding.

For the cost of an open bar, you could always give the option of beer and wine only and have your guests pay for any mixed drinks.

Another great option would be Magen's Bay. You could reserve a pavillion, cater in the food, and have coolers of whatever drinks that you want to provide.

Best wishes and good luck.

Molly

Iggie's always has something going on at night, so on some nights during season, it might get a little crowded depending on where you are. The fact that they have almost nightly entertainment gives the guests something to do after eating and drinking, so they should really enjoy themselves.

I've always liked Bolongo, because it is casual and right on the beach. Sounds good!

We've had several guests give the food and service at Iggies thumbs down. The entertainment is a plus.
