Join Coral World and Coki Beach Dive Club and dive and snorkel volunteers to help clean up Water Bay. The divers and snorkelers will meet at Coki Beach Dive Club at 9AM and all equipment will be provided free of charge as well as bottles of water. All trash collected will be on display at Coral World in the Blue Water Terrace on April 22nd, Earth Day. For more information on this event and on volunteering visit Coral World Earth Day.
If anyone knows of other community activities & cleanups for Earth Day please add on.

Thanks for sharing!
Islander-
That actually sounds like fun to me, as well as doing something great for ST. Thomas and the environment! Chuck and
I will be on Island then. Are vacationers welcome to participate? I don't dive but I do snorkel and I don't mind walking around the beach
for a few hours. :@)
I am always the one you see picking up others peoples garbage :X I'm very "used to it!" *-)
If welcome-should we bring our own trash bag or will those be provided? I'll bring my own rubber gloves 😉
Deb
Hello Deb,
I am sure anyone who wants to volunteer, resident or visitor, would be welcome. I will find out about your other questions and get back to you.

One more day and I'll be puttin' my toes in the sand... I'm so excited I am like a kid going to Disney...:@)
Can anyone tell me where we will find the Coki Beach Dive Club? Is it right on the beach?
Deb
Deb,
Will see you tomorrow and will point out where most everything is! Yes, they are right on Coki beach!
Deb - Here is the scoop: any and all cleaning up is greatly appreciated, underwater and on land. They will provide bags and gloves but if you want to bring some yourself that is great too. The meeting time is 9am and the place is Coki Beach Dive Club which is on the boardwalk between Coral World and Coki Beach. If you are taking a taxi there, just ask to go to the Coral World Parking lot. Have a great visit!
Sherri - in case Deb doesn't check in on the message board while on vacation could you please pass along the information. Thanks.

Islander- Thanks so much for remembering! My gloves are in the suitcase and we will leave early to be sure and be there
at 9:00. This will be an excellent thing to do on our last day to "thank the Island" for all the fun we're going to have for the next
week :@) No way I'm sleepin' tonight! :@) Have to get up at 4:30 am anyway...:-o
Thanks to all who have helped Chuck and I with the planning. You all are truly awesome!
Special thanks to Sherri, Islander and STT Resident for all your special advice and help!!
Cheers!
Deb
You're very welcome :). You are down to counting the hours until your trip - woooohooo!! Have a great time.

I see Deb got your message! Hey Islander, I didn't see this notice on the relocation forum, they should know too!
Your welcome Deb, I am truly looking forward to meeting you and the hubby!
Hi everyone! My name is Kitty and I am one of the planners for this event. I just want to say that I am so happy to see the interest in helping the environment, I can't wait to see our turnout!
