How long of a taxi ride is it from Red Hook to Megan's Bay? From Megan's Bay to cruise port? I am trying to figure out if we will have time to return around noon to Red Hook and go to Megan's Bay. We cruise in for one day only. We desperately want to return to Trunk Bay- if only for a short while in the morning. We have never been to Megan's. Advice appreciated!!! Glen

I would say between 20 & 30 minutes depending on the driver and volume of vehicles on the road.

Red Hook to Magens Bay is around 25-30 minutes as Patrick stated. Magens to the port is around 15 minutes. Yes you could leave the port early to go to St. John, as early the ferry that you can get on if you are doing St. john on your own. Then come back around noon. Catch a taxi to Magens Bay, spend an hour there, then head to go shopping if you want to , or stay at Magens Bay longer if shopping is not a necessary activity.

We always go to both places, but spend the day in each. That's one reason we don't Cruse. I would suggest you spend the whole time off the ship in one placeor the other and enjoy. You will be rushed if you don't. Have fun.
