*Is it possible to rent a car in the red hook area, if you are 21 yrs. of age. If so, which agencys would you recommend.

Try Budget: http://www.budgetstt.com/

Here is what their web site says:
"You may rent a car if under the age of 25, a $10 per day charge will be added if the renter is between 21-25"

And Avis says
"There is no maximum, minimums are as follows:
Minimum age 21 with Avis corporate AWD number with an Avis-honored charge card
Minimum age 21 with USAA AWD number with an Avis-honored charge card
Minimum age 25 for all other renters"
